Why We Do What We Do
Highgate Children’s Preparatory & Junior School was founded on a simple belief: that every child deserves an education that shapes not just their mind, but their character. From our earliest Pre-School class to Grade 9, we set out to build a place where learners feel safe, known, and inspired to become their best.
Our motto — Your Old Age Demands Your Youth — captures what drives us. The values, discipline, and skills a child builds today become the foundation of the person they grow into. That’s why we combine the CBC curriculum with faith, practical hands-on learning, and genuine care, preparing self-reliant young people who are ready to thrive and face the world.

Our school farm and hands-on projects carry this beyond the classroom. By planting, tending, and caring for animals and crops, learners gain responsibility, teamwork, and a genuine respect for nature and hard work.
